Walmart Seller Center is the dashboard where Walmart Marketplace sellers run their business: listing items, handling orders and returns, getting paid and tracking performance. Some sellers call it Walmart Seller Central, the name Amazon uses for its version. Here is how to get in, what each main area does and the settings worth checking first.
How to log in
Go to seller.walmart.com and sign in with the email and password for your seller account. Walmart uses two-step verification, so keep the phone or authenticator app you set up close by. If you don’t have an account yet, you need to apply and be approved first: see how to sell on Walmart Marketplace.
The main areas of Seller Center
Items and catalog
Add and edit listings one at a time or in bulk with spreadsheet templates, check listing quality and fix errors that keep items unpublished.
Orders
See new orders, confirm shipment, buy shipping labels and upload tracking. Shipping on time and with valid tracking is one of the main things Walmart measures.
Returns
Manage return requests, refunds and your return settings.
Payments
See payout reports, fees and adjustments. Walmart’s referral fee is charged on the total sale price, including shipping. Our Walmart fees guide explains every fee.
Performance
Track on-time delivery, valid tracking, cancellations and response rate. Falling below Walmart’s standards can limit your listings, so check this weekly.
Walmart Fulfillment Services
If you use WFS, this is where you convert items, create inbound shipments and track inventory in Walmart’s warehouses. More in our WFS guide.
Advertising
Sponsored Products and other ads run through Walmart Connect, which you reach from Seller Center.
Help and Partner Support
Search Seller Help articles or open a case with Partner Support when something needs Walmart’s attention.
Settings to check first
- Shipping templates: set realistic handling and transit times you can always meet.
- Return settings: confirm your return address and policy.
- Users and permissions: give team members their own logins instead of sharing yours.
- Notifications: make sure order and performance alerts reach the right inbox.
Tips for a smooth start
- Start with a few listings and check they publish correctly before uploading your whole catalog.
- Ship every order on time with tracking from day one, because early metrics shape how Walmart treats your account.
- Review the Performance page weekly during your first months.

Questions sellers ask
Is it Walmart Seller Center or Seller Central?
Walmart calls it Seller Center. Seller Central is Amazon’s name, but many sellers use both terms for Walmart’s dashboard.
Is there a Walmart Seller Center app?
Yes. Walmart offers a seller app for checking orders and performance on your phone. Bulk work like catalog uploads is easier on a computer.
